Sri Lanka is ranked 4th and you want a team that have the record for the highest test total, highest test partnership for any wicket and many more records to be based in a second division? Indians ranked 3rd & Kumble who got all ten wickets in a match once to play in a 2nd division? Tell me, what makes SA, AUS & ENG so special that they needed to be in a different section?

Clearly this is loads of rubbish! It's time for Sri Lanka to think hard and change their batting order. Dilshan, Kapugedara, Silva should be dropped and should be filled by Udawatte, Warnapura and Mubarak. National players must earn the right to play for their country. Let Dilshan and co. fight their way back to the team. You cannot call Kapugedara an youngster anymore, how long are we gonna call him that? until he plays 100 ODI's?

Y2 - I meant Jayasuriya batted well in the 4th ODI. Before that only Mahela and Mirando was our only batters. The others were there only to make up the numbers. You think the toss has much to do? I think so to, but also how you apply yourself to the game. Clearly Sri lanka doesn't have any clue how to even start chasing a total. We won the toss today and let's see how India go about the chase batting second!!

Jayasuriya was the only batsman who scored in this series. We need to drop Dilshan, Kapugedara, Silva and replace them with new players and create some competition inside the camp. Players must earn the right to play for the national side. I don't mind loosing matches when the team is full with inexperience players but we can't call Kapugedara an youngster now! He's played far too many matches and haven't produced anything but inconsistency. Welldone India, I hope they'll defeat SL 4 in a row and humiliate them, so finally the FAT selectors will open thier eyes!! Warnapura deserves another go!!

Nipuna - Doesn't matter the dismissals. Sri Lanka is looking more like an associate team at the moment. I think they've forgotten how to play one day cricket. Shame!

Sometimes a change of captaincy/leadership could affect the teams chemistry or performance. May be players feel more comfortable under KP's captaincy rather then Vaughan. England were all over the place in one dayers before and to be honest they didn't have a clue about the shorter version. But this outfit somehow I think is more promising and they do play according to a clear plan.

Hem3 - You're out of your mind? Jayasuriya should play as long as he can! Sri Lanka's batting is already a disaster. What do you mean a few years ago? He just saved the Asia Cup for us with a brilliant 100. Did you know that everytime he scores over 35+ we have 90% chance of winning? It's not the time for him to step down! Warnapura should come in as the extra batsman, Yes.

Y2 - Terrible selection by our selectors. They went with 6/5 combination and It will never work with our team. Sri lanka's weakness is their batting, therefore they should go with 7/4 combination. Pick seven batsmen and 4 bowlers will do 40 overs and Jayasuriya and Dilshan can bowl 5 each. I think they should name Warnapura as the extra batsman. Colombo will be a different ball game I think we'll see high scoring games hereafter. Once Jayasuriya goes cheaply everybody else joins him like the "Kandy Perahera" - Familiar story with Sri Lankan team!

Ed - Mubarak is crap! We don't even want to see Mubarak back in the side. Tharanga lost his way. Poor guy cannot score a run, agree he had fantastic start to his career but he's touch is gone and I don't think he'll regain any form in the near future. Indians will come hard in the one dayers with their young side and also Dhoni will bring a new dimension to India. I think SL will have 1. Jayasuriya 2. Warnapura 3. Sangakkara 4. Jayawardena. We have to try Udawatte in a couple games and stick with a good combination prior to champions trophy! I really really hope Malinga will be fit by September or else I don't want to see Kulasekara bowling to Australia in September!!

Y2 - I don't think they'll discard him. They'll play Warnapura and Udawatte in rotation policy until Sanath retires. There's something about Udawatte that I have a problem but can't really put in to words, know what I mean! Warnapura is more technically fluent.

Y2 - Malinda Warnapura gets a late re call to the one day squad. That means he will open the innings with Sanath Jayasuriya and Sangakkara will be dropped back to No 3. Good combination!

Y2 - I told you this before right? We needed to drop Kulasekara and bring Prasad. Kulasekara was too slow and bowling with Vaas in tandem make it worse. Prasad's extra pace did a big difference. Also I can't understand why Vandort wasn't drop? Look he just made nothing but a mess on our top order! Anyway so excited about Mendis I really hope he'll keep bowling this way for a long long time. I saw that he just broke the world record for a most number of wickets in 3 match series for debutant. Well done kid!

I don't think the English version will actually work. England is a not a cricket madness country, it has an average or just above average supporters for the game. Mainly dominated by Football! 20/20 league will be a waste of time and money and apart from it who really wants to pay money to see Vaughan play 20/20?? Trescothik?? Get over it?? ECB should have released English players for IPL, atleast they'll get some extra cash and more importantly how to bat!! Tendulkar was unlucky! But you cannot expect to change this umpire too as India do what they want everytime. The removal of Buknor was acceptable but if indians moan again for this decesion re Tendulkar, then they shouldn't play the game!!
