Enigma, I have changed my mind and have to agree with you. The great Sachin was a massive let down and questions have to be asked. Tendulkar and the other middle order stalwarts shouldn't have their places in the team guaranteed, despite how they perform. Great players undoubtedly but India need to blood their next 10 year batsman (or two,). Great performance by Sri Lanka though, another superstar spinner uncovered! Can't get carried away though, i;m sure SOME Aussies will be on a mission to find a flaw with his action.
I thought this match was a great advertisement for 'TEST' cricket. Unfortunately for the English, it was also great advertisement for the new era of South African teams. It seems to me (as a neutral supporter) that Tim Ellis ,try as he might to disguise it, is itching to find ways to denigrate South Africa' s performance.
I've got a feeling a few have been missed. One I remember was a Sri Lankan bowler against Pakistan, many years ago during the 'Benson and Hedges' series in Oz.
What does it mean, "Adam Gilchrist apart"? I think Gilly has been charged with dissent several times in his international career. Even the seemingly nice guys don't like it when things are not going their way.
Gee, what a surprise!
Bring back Peter MacIntyre!
Great article, good to see a subcontinent bowler who isn't afraid to play the Aussies/South Africans at their own games. He'll learn to channel it effectively soon enough.

Hey, can somebody tell me what happened to Justin Kemp? When did he last play?
The editor says.... He last played in Pakistan last year, but was battling to keep his place in the side and decided to take the Kolpak route and play for Kent, where he has done fairly well this season alongside Andrew Hall.
