Indian seamers Varun Aaron, Ashok Dinda, Ishwar Pandey – and a host of others – will train under the watchful eye of former Australia fast bowler Glenn McGrath later this year.

McGrath is the director of the MRF Pace Foundation, which will receive substantial financial and administrative support form the Board of Control for Cricket in India across a new five-year contract agreed earlier this week.

"It has been a wonderful couple of years for me at the MRF Pace Foundation. I now eagerly look forward to working with India's best at the foundation," said McGrath.

"Our facilities compare favourably with the best in the world and I am eagerly looking forward to this challenge."

While Aaron and Dinda will represent the relatively established contingent, the uncapped Rahul Shukla and Anureet Singh are arguably the most talented – albeit inexperienced – among the string of burgeoning fast bowlers across the country.

"These individuals have done the country proud with their achievements in all forms of the game. We are confident that this partnership will help produce many more quick bowlers, who will bring glory to India in the years to come," added BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel.
