Bangladesh have recalled spinner Enamul Haque junior for next month's Test series against Sri Lanka.
Seamer Seamer Robiul Islam and batsman Jahurul Islam have also returned, while the left-handed Mominul Haque has earned a maiden call-up.
All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was not considered for selection due to injury, and batsmen Junaid Siddique and Mohammad Nazimuddin and spinner Elias Sunny have been excluded.
Enamul, who last played Test cricket in 2009, has clinched 105 first-class wickets across the last two seasons. Monimul, meanwhile, impressed in ODI competition against the West Indies recently.
"This was a tough selection, because we had to pick two players to replace Shakib. Enamul won the left-arm spinner's position. He is in form and has Test experience," said chief selector Akram Khan. "Mominul was also a tough call, but we need a left-hander in the middle order.
The first Test gets underway at the Galle International Stadium on 8 March. The R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo will host the second and final fixture.
