Fast bowler Kemar Roach's telling five-wicket haul all but afforded the West Indies the opportunity to enforce the follow-on, come day three of the second and final Test at the Beausejour Stadium in Gros Islet on Sunday.

The West Indies, having made 380 themselves, reduced the Tigers to 104 for seven at the close on day two, still 276 runs behind. Roach took five of those wickets for just 33 runs.

The day began with the hosts on 246 for three, with Darren Bravo and Shivnarine Chanderpaul already set and nearing half centuries. Bravo was only able to add two more runs to his overnight score though, out for 46.

A flurry of wickets fell after that, as Dinesh Ramdin and Roach were both out for ducks, while Jermaine Blackwood made just eight. Chanderpaul advance to his half ton in the meantime, shocking no-one.

He was then assisted by Jerome Taylor, who smashed a quick 40 off 32 balls, while Suleiman Benn then added 25 off 19 balls. Chanderpaul was on 84 not out when Shannon Gabriel became the final wicket.

This put the visitors in to bat with 12 overs to go before tea, and at that interval they were just one wicket down. Tamim Iqbal made the only score of significance, making 48 before being caught behind off Roach.

As such, the evening session saw six wickets tumble, none for more than 13 aside from Tamim, and at the close Mahmudullah and Shafiul Islam were at the crease. Taylor had taken the other two wickets not snagged by Roach.
