The uncapped Kushal Perera and spinner Ajantha Mendis have been named in Sri Lanka's squad for this month's ODI seriers against Australia.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Perera has replaced the injured Kumar Sangakkara, who sustained a hand injury during the Test series against the same opposition.
Mendis, who has not played ODI cricket since January 2012, meanwhile, has recovered from the side strain that ruled him out of the World Twenty20 three months ago.
Seamer Nuwan Kulasekara has been retained despite a minor rib injury. Batsman Chamara Kapugedera and all-rounder Tharindu Kaushal, who were both in the squad for the limited-overs series against New Zealand earlier this year, have been dropped.
The first of five ODIs gets underway in Melbourne on 11 January.
Squad: Mahela Jayawardene (captain), Angelo Mathews, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Lahiru Thirimanne, Dinesh Chandimal, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Kulasekara, Thisara Perera, Akila Dananjaya, Ajantha Mendis, Jeevan Mendis, Suranga Lakmal, Rangana Herath, Kushal Perera, Shaminda Eranga.
