Obviously the comparisions are here to stay as they have survived through the transition in the past as well. Even in old times of cricket, comparisions were made and this is just the continuation of tradition today. So nothing to worry about it whatsoever. Anybody taking advantage of his legal right or something similar compare anyone with someone but the credibility depends a lot, in fact entirely, upon on which grounds the comparision is being made. Okay, Mendis is a fine, I repear very fine player but with his that one performance can he be compared with the caliber of Murali? No way! If Mendis has brought about a strom Murali has been creating Tsunami time and again. So, there is no point comparing the 'already legend' and 'yet to find a feet' but just take it in a positive way like it won't ruin the emmense talent of Mendis in the shadow of over-estimation rather will inspire him to follow the foot-prints of the great Murali. Who knows may on this process he will surpass his idol, but we have to wait for all this. And, for this moment let Mendis work on himself because even I do believe Mendis is a History... Under construction!
