South Africa have won the three-match one-day international series against Bangladesh 2-0 after the final game at East London was washed out.
Heavy overnight rain failed to relent in the morning and umpires Marais Erasmus and Nigel Llong had no hesitation in calling off proceedings an hour before the start.
The series victory means that South Africa hold onto second place in the one-day rankings and can now focus on the two-Test series against the Tigers which begins in Bloemfontein on November 19.
Opening batsman Hashim Amla was named man of the one-day series after scoring 175 runs in the two matches at an average of 87.50.
