Batsman Jonny Bairstow will depart England's tour of India early due to personal reasons.
Bairstow did not play in the opening Twenty20 International in Pune, where the tourists lost by five wickets, and will be unavailable for Saturday's second and final fixture in Mumbai.
A terse statement from the ECB read: "Jonny Bairstow has gone home from India tour for family reasons."
Fellow wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler was picked ahead of Bairstow at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium on Thursday. Buttler's late-order blitz of 33 not out carried the English to 157 for six, which India later surpassed with 13 balls to spare.
All-rounder Yuvraj Singh was named Man of the Match for his career-best figures of three for 19 and middle-order cameo of 38.
