Captain Brendan Taylor has expressed his displeasure in Zimbabwe's decision to forgo the services of batting coach Grant Flower and bowling coach Heath Streak during the tour of the West Indies.

Fitness trainer Lorraine Chivandire, too, will not travel to the Caribbean due to a change in technical structure change made by Zimbabwe Cricket.

It is understood financial constraints and a bid to accommodate more touring players are behind reasons for the decision.

The tour, will feature three ODIs, two Twenty20 Internationals and two Tests, will be head coach Alan Butcher's

"It's a massive concern not having Grant, Heath and Lorraine with us for the upcoming tour to the West Indies. For me personally as a captain and a batter, and I can speak on behalf of the others in the side, we are taking steps in the wrong direction by doing this," Taylor wrote on his Facebook page.

"We will never have a guy like Grant Flower ever again as a batting coach and this is how he is being treated. His work ethic is second to none. The bit of success that myself and others have had over the past couple of years, I put that down to Grant Flower."

Veteran left-arm spinner Ray Price and fast bowler Brian Vitori, meanwhile, have been dropped from the limited-overs squad - and uncapped seamer Tendai Chatara has been called up to the Test squad on the back of an impressive season at domestic level. Batsman Sean Williams has been included in the Test squad for the first time, too.
