Pakistan have added fast bowlers Tanvir Ahmed and Rahat Ali to their squad for the Test series against South Africa.
The team management had asked the selection committee for the two editions after considering the conditions and duration of the tour.
Ali and Ahmed will subsequently join a touring party that already includes four seamers in Umar Gul, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Irfan and Ehsan Adil.
The 24-year-old Ali, like Irfan and Adil, is as yet uncapped in Test cricket. The 34-year-old Ahmed, meanwhile, has not played international cricket in almost two years.
The tourists are currently playing a four-day match against a South African Invitation XI in East London. Three Tests, the first of which gets underway in Johannesburg on Fridady, two Twenty20 Internationals and five ODIs will follow.
