Faf du Plessis scored his second successive century in the MTN 40 competition on Sunday as the Titans recorded a four-wicket victory over the Knights in Kimberley.
Du Plessis' 108 came off only 91 deliveries, as the Titans chased down a target of 269 runs for victory. The hundred came on the back of an unbeaten 120 against the Lions in the Titans' previous match.
His partnerships with Henry Davids (51) and Farhaan Behardien (44) laid the foundation for Albie Morkel (28*) and David Wiese (20*) to see the Titans home.
The Knights' Ryan McLaren (4/49) struck three times in his first over, leaving the Titans struggling at 10 for three when Du Plessis and Davids joined forces at the crease.
Blake Snijman (1) was caught by Reeza Hendricks at first slip off McLaren's bowling.
Du Plessis and Davids shared a 104-run partnership over the fourth wicket before Davids was trapped leg before wicket by spin bowler Con de Lange (one for 37).
Du Plessis then shared a 93-run partnership with Behardien, who just missed out on his half-century.
Shadley van Schalkwyk eventually got rid of Du Plessis when De Lange ran in from short fine leg to take an impressive catch.
Behardien became McLaren's fourth victim when he played at a delivery wide of the crease and was caught by Dillon du Preez at the boundary.
Earlier, Reeza Hendricks (66) and captain Morné van Wyk (57) got the Knights off to a good start, sharing an opening partnership of 97 runs before both fell victim to Du Plessis (two for 36).
Rilee Rossouw picked up from where Hendricks and Van Wyk finished, scoring 48 runs before he was trapped leg before wicket by Roelof van der Merwe (one for 54).
Johan van der Wath gave the home side's innings a boost with his unbeaten 28 runs off only 11 deliveries. He and Dean Elgar (37*) shared an unbeaten partnership of 51 runs from a mere 22 deliveries to help the Knights to reach 268 in their allotted overs.
Van der Wath struck two fours and three sixes in his innings, while Elgar hit three fours and a six.
