Going into the second ODI against England in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, Younis Khan is confident Pakistan can put Monday's 130-run thrashing firmly behind them.
The Pakistanis had a dismal outing at the Sheik Zayed Stadium, where they were bowled out for just 130 in response to England's 260 for seven.
Former skipper Khan, however, insisted the performance is not a big concern for Pakistan.
"I hope there is no panic," said Khan.
"We should not panic because we have not batted badly in the last four five matches, so we need to try our best and put Monday's performance behind us."
England were helped by a captain's knock of 137 from Alastair Cook, while Ravi Bopara also chipped in with 50. Khan believed the 131-run stand between the pair proved the difference between the sides.
"England had a very good partnership between Cook and Bopara and that helped them," he added.
"It wasn't a difficult chase but we failed to put up a reasonable stand.
"We couldn't cash on the two wickets by Shahid Afridi but still we should have got that total. England bowled the first 10 overs well, they outclassed us."
Meanwhile, Khan had plenty of praise for England captain Cook, who he believes inspired the entire team to do well.
"When the captain of the team plays like this the whole team is inspired and Cook's knock lifted England so we have to match them in their body language and performance," he concluded.
