Bangladesh will be without fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza for Monday's one-off Twenty20 International against the West Indies in Dhaka.

Mortaza missed the fifth and final ODI against the same opposition due to a thigh strain, and will be sidelined for three weeks.

"Mashrafe's situation is very risky and we will lose him for a long time if we ask him to play again in this series. We want to give him a break, but I am sure he will recover within the next three weeks. He will get better," said captain Mushfiqur Rahim.

Meanwhile, spinner Sohag Gazi and batsmen Anamul Haque and Mominul Haque have been included in the squad for the sole T20I. The trio debuted in the preceding Test and ODI series.

The 13-man party, however, does not feature batsmen Mohammad Ashraful and Junaid Siddique and all-rounder Farhad Reza, who were all part of the squad for the World Twenty20 earlier this year.

Former captain Shakib Al Hasan and seamer Abul Hasan were not considered for selection due to respective shin and side strains.

Squad: Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mahmudullah, Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Haque, Abdur Razzak, Mominul Hoque, Jahurul Islam, Nasir Hossain, Elias Sunny, Rubel Hossain, Sohag Gazi, Ziaur Rahman, Shafiul Islam.
