A series triumph over the West Indies has seen Bangladesh move above New Zealand in the ICC ODI rankings.

The three-two victory margin took the Tigers to eighth spot, six points ahead of the Black Caps and 10 behind the Windies.

The hosts' success is also reflected in the player rankings for bowlers, with spinner Abdur Razzak climbing to ninth position and vice-captain Mohammad Mahmudullah to 59th.

West Indies spinner Sunil Narine, meanwhile, has secured a career-best ranking of third. Narine, who was named Emerging Cricketer of the Year in September, clinched nine wickets in the five-match series at an average of 17.33.

In the player rankings for batsmen, Man of the Series Mushfiqur Rahim has moved to 44th place, with West Indian left-hander Darren Bravo and captain Darren Sammy jumping to 50th and 64th spot respectively.
