India have called up fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun as a replacement for the injured Vinay Kumar ahead of their two-match Twenty20 International series against England.
Mithun originally replaced seamer Lakshmipathy Balaji, who is nursing a stress injury to his right toe, but strained a calf muscle this week.
The 23-year-old Mithun played four Tests and five ODIs in 2010 and 2011, but is not yet capped in T20I cricket. He has taken eight wickets in four Ranji Trophy matches for Karnataka this season.
Batsman Manoj Tiwary, too, had been sidelined by a side strain earlier this month - and was replaced by the uncapped Ambati Rayudu.
India and England will meet in Pune and Mumbai on 20 and 22 December respectively.
