India could be without skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the third and final ODI against Pakistan in Delhi on Sunday, as the captain admitted to having a sore back after training.
Dhoni was actually asked about why batsman Yuvraj Singh missed out on the Saturday training, but he side-stepped that and said that he could be the one sitting out as India look to avoid going 3-0 down.
Dhoni, who scored a century and fifty in the first two games, said: "If at all somebody is doubtful, it's me. I have a sore back and we have called Dinesh Karthik as back up. Since it was an optional practice session, Yuvraj did not come."
He added, when asked who would skipper the side if he is absent: "Let's hope that I play. We'll see on Sunday."
Dhoni continued: "Nobody is irreplaceable. I am sure if Dinesh plays on Sunday, he will bat as good as I batted in the last two games."
