Captain Michael Clarke is confident of maintaining a full bill of fitness throughout Australia's ODI series against the West Indies in February.

Clarke missed the second Test and the fifth ODI against against Sri Lanka due respective hamstring and ankle injuries recently, but has recovered in time for the five-match affair in Perth, Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne.

"I feel really good. My ankle's come along really well after spraining it in Hobart. I'm at full fitness," said Clarke.

"I've been doing all my running. I've had plenty of batting since I've been here, some bowling and a lot of fielding. I'm 100 percent and looking forward to being out there."

Opener David Warner, meanwhile, is unlikely to play in any of the fixtures. Originally ruled out of the first two games by a fractured thumb, the left-hander was all ruled out of the series' entirety by national selector John Inverarity on Thursday. He is, however, expected to return for the first Test against India next month.

"Look, the chances aren't very good, I mean the early indication is it's a slight fracture and the indications are he'll certainly be Okay for the first Test," added Inverarity.

"What we're looking to do, during the next couple of days, is get more feedback on exactly when he will be able to come back,"

The first ODI gets underway at the WACA in Perth on Friday.
