Mohsin Khan emerged a proud coach after Pakistan wrapped up a resounding series sweep over England in Dubai.
The hosts needed less than 11 days of cricket to record three successive wins for their first ever whitewash over the English, with Monday's 71-run triumph a sound success over an opposition four spots higher than them in the ICC Test rankings.
Although delighted with the victory, Mohsin was adamant that Pakistan will have to achieve greater results across the planet if they are to be considered the complete package. Consistently victorious on the sub-continent and in the Middle East in the last year, their achievements around the rest of the world demand improvement.
"I think this win is like a dream come true," said Khan. "It's not a very experienced team, not a world beater, but it's a very talented team and I have lot of faith in the captain.
"But we have to perform the same way when we play in Australia, South Africa or England. To become number one it's very important you perform all over the cricketing world."
The interim coach, believed to interested in the job on a full-time basis, was full of praise for captain Misbah-ul-Haq's leadership prowess. Yet to lose a series since taking over the reins in May 2011, Misbah's tactics and foresight have served him and his team well during his tenure thus far.
"Misbah is a very sensible person, cool minded. We sit down together, discuss things, have no ego problems. I feel very comfortable with Misbah," added Khan.
Pakistan's next assignment is a one-off one-dayer against Afghanistan on Friday, after which they lock horns with England again for four ODIs and a T20I.
