- Test debut v Pakistan at Sydney in January 2005.
- ODI debut v South Africa at Centurion in March 2002.
- All-rounder who is a clean hitter with the bat and decidedly sharp with the ball.
- Struggled with injuries and missed the 2003 World Cup with stress fractures of the back.
- Returned in 2003-04 with four hundreds from No. 4 for Tasmania.
- Smashed an unbeaten 300 and took 7 for 29 in a club game for Lindisfarne.
- Picked for his first Test in 2004-05 and took two wickets and made 31 runs.
- The 2002 Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year starred in Australia's 2006 Champions Trophy victory.
- Injury cost him a place in the Ashes side in 2006/07 and has been perenially dogged by problems throughout his career.
