- Test debut v Sri Lanka at SSC - February 1999.
- ODI debut v Zimbabwe at Harare - June 2001.
- Nehra is an excellent left-handed line and length bowler with an excellent late inswinger.
- After an excellent debut tour of Zimbabwe, he struggled to establish himself in both the Test and ODI teams.
- His best figures of six for 23 against England came during the 2003 World Cup in South Africa. He also claimed six for 59 against Sri Lanka in 2005.
- After injuries and poor form kept him out of the side for a few years, he regained a place in the ODI team in 2009 on the back of an excellent IPL.
