- Was dealt with harshly by the South Africans in his next series, but did dismiss Graeme Smith, Jacques Kallis and AB de Villiers.
- Spent the next few years honing his skills in the wake of Zimbabwe's withdrawal from Tests, but became a regular in Zimbabwe's one-day side after making his debut in early 2009.
