Ian Salisbury has recovered from a calf injury to take his place in the Warwickshire squad that travels to Cardiff to face LV County Championship Division Two rivals Glamorgan tomorrow.

The 38-year-old former England leg-spinner missed the drawn championship game with Gloucestershire last week, but comes back into a 13-man squad, with Tim Groenewald as back-up.

The Bears will be desperate to get Darren Maddy back for the Twenty20 Cup, in which he has been a pioneering figure.

But the captain is expected to be out for another four weeks with the broken thumb sustained last month against Middlesex.

South African fast bowler Monde Zondeki, meanwhile, has ended his underwhelming spell as overseas player, in which he took nine wickets at an average of 42.33 in championship cricket.
