Captain Jon Lewis faces a late fitness test tomorrow morning to decide whether he will lead Gloucestershire out against Northamptonshire in the LV County Championship Division Two clash at Wantage Road.

Lewis struggled with a shoulder problem in the drawn championship match with Warwickshire last week, though he produced a brilliant spell of 10-1-21-2 in the Friends Provident Trophy defeat by Yorkshire Carnegie on Wednesday.

Gloucestershire are already without Steve Kirby due to a similar injury, though he should return during the Twenty20 Cup.

William Rudge is the 12th name in the squad and would be favourite to step in for Lewis should he not make it, though Carl Greenidge is another option.
