England Lions took an unassailable lead in their Twenty20 series against Pakistan A with a convincing eight-wicket win in the second match in Sharjah on Sunday.
The Lions set up victory with a dominant display with the ball, led by Yorkshire leg-spinner Adil Rashid, to bowl out Pakistan for 106.
They needed 16.1 overs to overhaul the below-par total with opener Craig Kieswetter top-scoring for the second game running with an unbeaten 40 from 42 balls.
The victory followed the Lions' seven-wicket win in the opening game on Friday and they can now wrap up a series whitewash in the final game in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
Pakistan A's hopes of posting a competitive score were ruined by Rashid who ran through their middle order claiming three quick wickets as they crashed to 46 for six.
Rashid first had Aamer Sajjad caught by Andrew Gale for 13 before Kashif Siddiq (zero) and Asad Shafiq (five) were both stumped by Kieswetter as Pakistan lost four wickets for just seven runs to undermine their innings.
Rashid finished with three for 13 from his four overs while Chris Woakes and Sajid Mahmood chipped in with two wickets apiece.
The Lions were never troubled in their run chase as Somerset wicketkeeper-batsman Kieswetter followed his impressive unbeaten 77 in the opening game by again remaining unbeaten to steer his side home.
Steve Davies (17) and Michael Lumb (13) were the batsmen to fall with Ian Bell finishing 32 not out.
