England Women have lost their five-match one-day series against India after a five-wicket defeat today.
Heading into today's fourth ODI in Visakhapatnam with India 2-1 up in the series, Charlotte Edwards' side were comprehensively beaten by their counterparts.
After losing the toss and being put in, only Edwards produced a score of note with an impressive 57 not out as England managed 152 for nine from their 50 overs. Opener Caroline Atkins and Beth Morgan (both 20) and Danielle Hazell (21) at least made double figures.
Jhulan Goswami and Preeti Dimri took three wickets apiece for India.
The hosts' response was businesslike, with Mithali Raj's unbeaten 84 seeing them home with five wickets and 32 balls to spare.
The win sees India take a 3-1 lead in the series with one match remaining.
