England's Under-19 have it all to do in the fifth and final Youth ODI after Sri Lanka took a 2-1 lead in their series with an 11-run win in game four at St Lawrence Ground on Thursday.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first and they just about managed to give their bowlers something to defend after being bowled out for 221 in 49.1 overs.

Ramith Rambukwella and Kithuruwan Vithanage were the only two Sri Lanka batsmen to put up a fight against an in-form England bowling line-up. Opener Rambukwella scored 68 while Vithanage, who scored a half-century in game two, hit 45 to help their side to a decent total.

Opening seam bowler David Payne did most of the damage with three for 46, while left-arm spinner and skipper Paul Best picked up two wickets.

Despite chasing a lowly score, England's response never really gathered momentum and they were reduced to 59 for three in the 18th over. Luke Wells tried to steady the ship with 47, but he didn't receive much help from the other batsmen and the hosts were eventually dismissed for 210.

Medium-pacer Lahiru Jayarathne helped himself to three wickets while Chathura Peiris, Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Rumesh Buddika finished with two wickets apiece.

England now have to win the final game at the same venue in Canterbury on Friday to draw level. They won the opening game by three wickets before Sri Lanka hit back with a five-wicket win. Game three was washed out.
