The third ODI in the three-match series between India and Australia was abondoned without a ball being bowled due to a wet outfield at the Nehru Stadium in Goa.
Heavy rain had fallen for a-week-and-a-half prior to the final game of the series and despite Sunday morning being bright and sunny the groundstaff's hard toil proved in vain.
An expectant Goa crowd waited patiently by through three inspections by the umpires before the game was called off at 12.50 local time.
The no result means that India take the one-day series 1-0.
