England have kept faith with an unchanged line-up for today's fourth one-day international against India as they search for the victory which will keep them alive in the series.
Despite suffering another defeat in Kanpur, their third in succession, the tourists' spirited performance during the 16-run Duckworth Lewis loss has encouraged them to retain the same XI.
It means Lancashire seamer James Anderson keeps his place despite failing to claim a wicket so far in the series while former captain Paul Collingwood also stays in the side after going seven one-day-international innings without a half-century.
India made two changes to the side who claimed victories in Rajkot, Indore and Kanpur with Sachin Tendulkar returning after resting for the first three matches in the series.
Tendulkar replaced Rohit Sharma while key seamer Ishant Sharma is again rested to allow India to play left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha for the first time in the series.
England were given an early chance to test India's new look line-up after captain Kevin Pietersen won the toss and decided to bowl first in cloudy conditions at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
