Former Zimbabwe captain Terrence Duffin and seamer Gary Brent have retired from the national team, Cricket Zimbabwe confirmed on Tuesday.
Duffin is now in England where he is playing for Winsley in Wiltshire.
The 26-year-old Duffin was Zimbabwe's captain until 2006 and played 23 one-day internationals and two Tests.
Brent, 32, played 70 ODIs and four Tests for Zimbabwe, and was one of the players who went on strike following the sacking of Heath Streak as captain in 2004.
He confirmed that his retirement also extended to the Zimbabwe domestic tournaments, and that he would be heading to England to train for his coaching qualifications.
"I have quit first-class and international cricket in Zimbabwe," said Brent.
"I decided that it was time to get on with my life and get myself a qualification in cricket.
"I gave Zimbabwe Cricket a one-month notice in terms of my contract and I'm happy to say I'm leaving on happy terms.
"I want to get qualified as a coach and the only way I can get that qualification is by going overseas."
