Pakistan complete emphatic sweep of ODI series
Pakistan Women completed a three-nil clean sweep of their ODI series in Sri Lanka with a 108 run win in Dambulla.
The tourists won the toss and elected to bat first on what proved to be a tricky surface.
Almost all of the Pakistan top order got starts but not one of them would convert those into a score of fifty or more.
Nahida Khan top scored for Pakistan with her 46 and shared the biggest partnership of the match with Javeria Khan (30), the pair added 63 for the second wicket.
Sri Lanka shared the bowling responsibilities across seven bowlers the pick of whom was Ama Kanchana who returned an analysis of 2 for 35 from her seven overs.
Pakistan will be disappointed with their lack of application but their total of 215 for 9 proved to be more than competitive.
Sana Mir (4/27) was on top form yet again with the ball for Pakistan picking up a second consecutive four wicket haul.
Aiman Anwer was the only bowler on her team who failed to keep her economy rate below four as she went for 20 in her five overs.
Sri Lanka did not turn up with the willow at all, only opener Nipuni Hansika (35) could get past twenty as they slumped to 107 all out in 41.3 overs.
