After holding on for a thrilling draw in the third Test in Mumbai, it is time for another spin grilling for the West Indies batsmen in the limited-overs series.
The Windies players will no doubt feel more self-assured after holding on for a share of the spoils in the third and final Test, but the manner in which the batsmen collapsed against a spinning ball in the second innings will be a big headache for the captain and coach heading into the series.
How will they combat the spin of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja? Ashwin picked up 22 wickets in the Test series while Jadeja starred against England not so long ago. The Indians can also throw rookie leg-spinner Rahul Sharma into the equation.
There were signs of improvement during their 2-1 ODI series win over Bangladesh in October, but their weaknesses were brutally exposed in the Tests. This time there is no Shivnarine Chanderpaul or Ramnaresh Sarwan to bail them out so it will be up to Lendl Simmons, Adrian Barath, Marlon Samuels and Darren Bravo to stand firm for the visitors. If they do, then it will give Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell a perfect platform from which to launch.
Although the tracks will no doubt offer assistance to the spinners, the Windies are likely to count more on their pace attack of Darren Sammy, Kemar Roach and Ravi Rampaul as Jason Mohammed and Sunil Narine are inexperienced at international level.
For India, it is just under eight months since they beat Sri Lanka in the World Cup final but they are not standing still in terms of rebuilding their squad.
While the nucleus of the batting line-up remains intact, the bowling attack has undergone a metamorphosis. Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel and Sreesanth are out all due to poor form, illness or injury and the selectors have turned to Ashwin, Praveen Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron and Sharma.
You expect a team containing Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Jadeja to have enough experience to post decent totals against any attack in the world and their relatively inexperienced attack clicked in the 5-0 whitewash of England recently.
Of course, a lot of focus will be on Sehwag to see if he changes his approach now that he has the added responsibility of the captaincy. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has been rested for the first three games, was in superb form against England, but Jadeja is likely to fill that late-hitting role with aplomb.
Key Men
India: Harbhajan Who? India have barely missed Harbhajan as a spinner and a lower-order batsman as Ravichandran Ashwin has made the most of the opportunities given to him. The Windies batsmen won't look forward to facing him after his 22 wickets in the Test series.
West Indies: He was the West Indies' standout player in the Test series, but Darren Bravo can't afford to rest on his laurels during the one-day series as the visitors need some stability in their fragile middle order.

Prediction:
The manner in which India swept aside an experienced England team a few weeks ago was quite impressive and it is hard to them not producing a similar scoreline against the West Indies.
