Shami ruled out of Sri Lanka one-dayers

India fast bowler Mohammed Shami has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka with an unspecified injury.
Shami, who took 10 wickets in three games against the West Indies recently, will be replaced by Dhawal Kulkarni, who has one ODI cap to his name.
The BCCI tweeted: “News Alert: Dhawal Kulkarni replaces injured Mohd Shami in the ODI squad for the first three matches against Sri Lanka #INDvsSL”
Kulkarni recently took seven wickets in a domestic first class game, putting his name in the ring in case of an emergency, and before that he took four wickets in the two tour matches against the Windies.
