Lewis back in West Indies squad for T20 series against Bangladesh

Batsman Evin Lewis is back in West Indies’ squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, starting in Sylhet on Monday.

The left-handed Lewis hasn’t played international cricket since pulling out of the limited-overs leg of West Indies’ tour of India last month.

Also back in the squad are fast bowlers Kesrick Williams and Sheldon Cottrell.

Allrounder Kieron Pollard and the left-arm paceman Obed McCoy, who were part of the T20I squad in India, miss out due to injury.

Andre Russell and off-spinner Ashley Nurse have not yet recovered from the shoulder and knee injuries that cut short their India tours and also miss out on the matches in Bangladesh.
