Footage: B-Mac’s knock and Maxi’s mistake

The last week in December always provides cricket-lovers with plenty of action, with Tests around the globe usually occupying prime TV space from Boxing Day onwards, and the Big Bash League also in full swing.
Here are a few videos from around the world over the last week of the year, ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous.
New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum played one of the more memorable knocks of the year, smashing 195 off 134 balls against Sri Lanka in Christchurch, with his ton coming off 74 balls (the fastest in Tests by a Kiwi).
Watch McCullum's batting masterclass here.

On the other end of the spectrum we saw Glenn Maxwell's brain implode while playing for the Melbourne Stars. He was out for a first ball duck against the BRisbane Heat, and you won't believe why.
The commentators' reactions are the best. Watch it here.

In the UK, England's Alastair Cook and James Anderson took part in a darts tournament, though we wonder how tense it was after Anderson had earlier said that the ECB were right to sack Cook as ODI skipper.
Watch Cooky and Jimmy duke it out with wee spikes.
