Hesson pleased with progress of T20 team

New Zealand coach Mike Hesson is pleased with the way the T20 team is shaping up ahead of the World T20, which starts in India in March, but knows that there is still room for improvement.
The Black Caps beat Sri Lanka and Pakistan at home in the shortest format with some of those victories coming in quite convincing fashion.
They won both games against Sri Lanka for a series clean sweep while they bounced back from losing the first match against Pakistan to outplay the visitors in the following two games to win the three-match series two-one.
The New Zealand mentor knows however that conditions in the subcontinent will be very different to what they are on home soil.
Hesson said: "We've got a lot of guys in form. When you're confident and know your skillset it helps. Most of our top six have had time in the middle.
"From a bowling point of view, we've been under pressure at times throughout, and we've got better as the series has gone on and come up with better variations. We've set a standard in the field as well, that we'd like to maintain.
"But we also won't get too far ahead of ourselves knowing that the conditions will be very different in India."
