Kiwis set to be without Anderson, Southee

New Zealand are set to be without all-rounder Corey Anderson and fast bowler Tim Southee for the second ODI against England at The Oval on Friday as both are nursing injuries.

Anderson has been out of action since the first Test a few weeks ago, with a back injury, and according to batsman Kane Williamson, Anderson has not fully recovered for this match.

Southee, meanwhile, missed the first ODI due to general tiredness, and Williamson didn't definitely say the paceman wouldn't play, but hinted it was a strong possibility

Williamson said of Anderson: "I think he's still having a bit of trouble with his back so I don't think he's playing in this one.

"Hopefully in time to come we can have all guys available and that'd be nice, but that's the nature of it."

England lead the five-match series one-nil after winning by 210 runs in Birmingham earlier in the week.
