Proteas won’t face Milne, Taylor

Respective calf and elbow injuries have ruled former captain Ross Taylor and fast bowler Adam Milne out of New Zealand’s ODI series against South Africa this month.
Batsman Kane Williamson has been sidelined from the opening fixture by a left wrist injury, while all-rounder Tim Southee has all but recovered from a hurt shoulder.
“Southee is expected to be fit, while Taylor and Milne will miss the series. Williamson will miss the first match of the series and be assessed early next week,” read a media release from New Zealand Cricket.
The Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui will host the first two ODIs on 21 and 24 October, while Seddon Park in Hamilton will host the third on 27 October.
