Friday morning saw the sporting world awake to the news that former All- Black rugby player Jerry Collins and his wife Alana had died in a car crash in France, with their baby in critical condition.
Twitter's sportspeople reacted, with New Zealand's cricketers particularly affected, while rugby players from around the globe reflected on either watching Collins or playing against him.
