Vettori withdraws from Champions League T20

New Zealand's veteran spinner Daniel Vettori will not be playing in the Champions League Twenty20 after all, pulling out of the tournament due to family health issues.
Vettori was set to play for the Northern Knights after his Caribbean Premier League side, the Jamaica Tallawahs, failed to reach the event in India in September and early October.
The spinner, who has missed much of the past two years with an Achilles problem, said: "I really love playing for ND and to do so on a world stage would have been a real highlight."
The Knights will have to replace Vettori, with permission from the CLT20, but Knights boss Peter Roach doesn't anticipate a problem: "There's no guarantee, but we think Dan's exceptional circumstances should be viewed favourably."
