Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal will make their return to the Bangladesh ODI side in the upcoming series at home against the West Indies, starting on 9 December.
Both players had missed Bangladesh’s previous ODI series, at home against Zimbabwe in October, due to injuries but have been given the all clear to return.
Shakib led the Tigers to a 2-0 Test series whitewash against the Windies on Sunday while Tamim will make his return to the field when he was named in the BCB XI squad for a one-day practice match against the West Indians on Thursday.
Tamim has been out since he fractured his wrist in the Asia Cup in September and then missed the West Indies Tests due to a side strain.
The experienced duo replace Najmul Hossain Shanto and Fazle Mahmud who have both been dropped from the side that duty against Zimbabwe.
