Steyn to replace Amla at Hampshire

Hampshire have announced that batsman Proteas batsman Hashim Amla will not complete his overseas stint with the side due to knee injury and will be replaced by compatriot Dale Steyn.
Amla has, according to the county side, suffered a minor knee injury and will return to South Africa to ensure a full recovery before the Proteas Test series against Sri Lanka next month.
Hampshire will miss Amla though as the 35-year-old was the top run-scorer in the County Championship this season with two centuries and three fifties to his name.
The right-handed batsman scored 611 runs at an average of more than 50 in both four-day and List A matches during April and May.
Steyn, meanwhile, made his debut for Hampshire in a One-Day Cup fixture this week and will now stay on for a further three mgames this month.
The fast bowler will now be available for the County Championship matches later this month against Yorkshire and Lancashire and a four-day game against Surrey this weekend.
