Abbasi will be Zaka's chief consultant

Former Pakistan Cricket Board chief executive officer Arif Ali Abbasi has been appointed as chairman Zaka Ashraf's chief consultant.
Former Pakistan Cricket Board chief executive officer Arif Ali Abbasi has been appointed as chairman Zaka Ashraf's chief consultant.
Abbasi was part of Pakistan International Airlines' senior management staff between 1990 to 2000 in three different stints – and led the country's hockey and squash federations. The new role will see him advise the PCB on policy and cricketing affairs.
"Cricket is being treated unfairly and instability at PCB will derail the game. The success is in consistency and the ongoing legal tussle will bring the country a bad name and nothing else," said Abbas.
"I know in the present circumstances it is tough but I like to take challenges. I know there are hurdles at the moment but there is a need to tackle them rather than running away."
Pakistan, under new head coach Waqar Younis, bowling consultant Mushtaq Ahmed and batting coach Grant Flower, will tour Sri Lanka for two Tests and three ODIs in August.
