Annoyed Hafeez clarifies remedial work

Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has reacted to a story about his illegal bowling action by saying he has been working on fixing it, and that reports to the contrary are 'irresponsible'.
Hafeez has been bowling in Pakistan's domestic T20 tournament despite being banned from international bowling until June next year, and this is allowed in the ICC rules as long as the home board, the PBC in this case, clears it.
A story on Cricinfo read: "Bowlers banned from international cricket for suspect actions can bowl in domestic cricket if their home boards let them, but it is unusual for them to do so without any attempt at correction."
Hafeez was unimpressed with this, saying that he had, in fact, been working on his action for much of the past year. He tweeted: "Been working on my bowling action from the last 9 months in NCA with coaches and analysts. In shaa Allah wil come back SOON in Action.
"Irresponsible reporting is at its best @kalson @ESPNcricinfo ..not sure from where it come from.. ????"
In the original story, PCB domestic director Intikhab Alam also commented that they were monitoring Hafeez's action: "We are monitoring him as there is a provision that he can bowl.
"It's not like we are being lenient with him. The umpires can still report him if they suspect anything wrong in his action.
"Since this ongoing tournament is being televised, it's the best opportunity for us to monitor him closely. In a while, if he is reported at this level as well then he will be suspended for another three months."
