The itinerary for England's tour to Australia, starting at the end of October and running through till February next year, has been released, with Melbourne and Sydney benefiting the most.

Those two cities get a Test, and ODI and a T20 each, while Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth get a Test and an ODI. Hobart misses out though, scheduled to host only one T20 and a tour match early on in the trip.

England go into the tour on the back of a three-nil Ashes win, as they look to defend their title yet again. The last time they played in Oz was in 2010, when Andrew Strauss led them to victory.

The five-match Test series will be followed by five ODIs and three T20s, seeing the England players return home at the beginning of February, with the tour spanning five calendar months.
