Bangladesh include uncapped trio in Test squad

Bangladesh have included the uncapped trio of Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das and Mohammad Shahid in their Test squad to face Pakistan in a two-match series starting on Tuesday.
Soumya was always going to be close to being selected after excelling in ODI cricket for the last few months, including strong performances at the World Cup.
Litton is sitting on top of the batting charts in the domestic first-class competition having racked up 1024 runs in seven matches at an average of 85.33.
Shahid is a right-arm fast bowler who has taken 56 wickets in first-class cricket at an average of 32.19 and has the ability to bowl long spells.
Bangladesh chief selector Faruque Ahmed said: "The newcomers are deserving of their spots through performances in domestic and international cricket.
"Mohammad Shahid is a strong lad capable of bowling long spells and he has been a consistent performer in first class games. Litton has scored heavily in the last couple of seasons while Soumya [Sarkar] has started strongly in ODIs."
