Bayliss: We need to improve all areas
England coach Trevor Bayliss says his team have not played to their potential in the two ODIs against Australia as they find themselves two-nil down with three matches to play.
The Three Lions find themselves needing to win the remaining games in the series after they were comfortably beaten at the Rose Bowl, by 59 runs, then again at Lord's, by 64 runs, on Saturday.
On the eve of the third ODI, at Old Trafford, Bayliss knows his team have to improve in all areas of their game if they want to beat the current world champions.
The home side have already won the Ashes and a one-off T20 against the Aussies over the last few months.
A former New South Wales coach, Bayliss told reporters on Monday: "We certainly haven't played to our potential in the two games.
"Australia have played well also and that makes it difficult for you to play your own game. We've got some areas we need to improve in and we'll be looking to turn that around tomorrow."
The remaining two ODIs after the match in Manchester will be played on Friday and Sunday.
