BCCI President Dalmiya passes away

Jagmohan Dalmiya, the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), passed away on Sunday.
The 75-year-old was admitted to NM Birla Hospital on Thursday after suffering severe chest pains. Dalmiya underwent a coronary angiography, after which his condition stabilised but he was still in critical care.
However, on Sunday, Dalmiya's conditioned worsned to the point where he had a cardiac arrest from which he could not recover.
"Dalmiya died of internal gastrointestinal bleeding and internal organ failure," confirmed a source in the hospital.
Dalmiya is survived by his wife Chadralekha, daughter Vaishali and son Abhishek.
