C365 Player of the Week: Shane Watson

This is the easiest selection we've ever made, really. Shane Watson is the name on everyone's lips this week, as he is single-handedly lifting Australia from the T20 doldrums and possibly leading them to the World Twenty20 title.

Watto, his golden hair blowing in the breeze as much as it can what with all that gel, is at the top of every list that counts in Sri Lanka, and now he can add our coveted Player of the Week title to his name.
Before the tournament began, the Aussies were a bit of a laughing stock, having fallen below the mighty Ireland in the rankings to 10th place for a few days, before rising again to…ninth. Now, at the time of writing, they are the only unbeaten team at the tournament, thanks mostly to Watto.
He is the tournament's top wicket-taker, has scored the most runs and hit the most sixes, not to mention the biggest six and the only such shot to go over 100m. It's really not fair, he's like a machine, and his knocks of 51, 41, 72 not out and 70 deflated all bowlers to face him.
We usually give an honourable mention at the end here, so… Virat Kohli for his 78 against Pakistan? Eoin Morgan and Samit Patel for their fifties that went in vain for England as they crashed out of the tournament?
Nah, let's give it to George Bailey, who is being made to look like a captaincy Rain Man thanks to Watson's performances.
