CA wish dual international Ronchi well after retirement

Cricket Australia have congratulated Luke Ronchi on his achievements following the announcement of his retirement from international cricket.
Ronchi, 36, represented Australia seven times in limited-overs cricket after making his debut in 2008, playing in four One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals.
Having lost his place in the Australia team and being sidelined for Western Australia, Ronchi relocated to New Zealand.
The wicketkeeper-batsman went on to enjoy a successful international career with the Black Caps, playing in a career total of 121 international matches, including four Tests, 85 ODIs and 32 T20Is.
Cricket Australia Chief Executive Officer James Sutherland said: “Luke was a destructive batsman and skilful wicket-keeper, who was a strong contributor for Western Australia over a number of years and impressed in his limited international appearances with Australia.
“While Luke only featured fleetingly for Australia, he showed great resolve to move to New Zealand, his country of birth, in pursuit of more cricketing opportunities and to forge a successful career at the highest level.
“We congratulate Luke on his efforts and wish him the very best for life after international cricket.”
Ronchi announced his retirement on Wednesday having played his last game in the Champions Trophy against Bangladesh.
